For me there's nothing more attractive than a man who is a good father and displays his love for his children in public, in front of his friends, and doesn't care what anyone thinks about it.

I know many women would agree with you but I would be put off by a man with kids. In the long run it means having an ex to deal with and another expense / visitation to consider.

    Fix leaky taps.
Pump up the tyres on my bike.
If I'm walking the dog before daylight, he will come wih me to make sure I'm safe.
If it's raining, he will drop me off where i need to be.
When I have washed the furniture cushions in the living room, he will struggle to get all that foam back in and zip up again!
  • Pays for the woman on dates/meals out.

Brings in the money and pays all the bills. (Must bring in enough money so girlfriend or wife doesn't have to work.)

Buys his girlfriend or wife a car.

Buys jewellery and perfume for her.

Takes her away on impromptu trips to Paris/Rome/New York.

Does all the housework. (And shopping and washing.)

Does all the DIY/gardening/maintaining the car.

Drives her where she wants to go (if she doesn't want to use her car.)

Gives her massages/foot rubs on demand.

Does NOT dominate the TV remote.

Being soft with animals. Stopping to pet or say hello to one etc. I'm an absolute sucker for that! I love it when I catch my OH talking to our rabbits :)
  • my fella buys me the best gifts, he listens to the things I say I want or am interested in throughout the year and always gets me lovely things. Not overly expensive but when I open them it's something I really want - sometimes without realising I wanted it so much - and that I just wouldn't get myself.

He also took on my granddaughter when she was 11 months old (we have custody) and he is the best parent there is. Period.

being a generous lover is a good quality whatever your gender :)

Bringing me tea and toast, in bed, in the mornings :)

Also, I find watching him work is very attractive. Anything physical that shows off his superior strength compared to me.

Not being fussy about food. Happy to eat almost anything and still say it's lovely.

Being big (as in height/weight). Muscles are good as long as they're also covered with a layer of fat and are not too defined.

Showing kindness with animals. Being a total softie with them is even better.

Having a car is attractive, and being a confident and responsible driver is even more so. Any sort of competitive, angry, boy racer tendencies is instantly offputting. (Guys, don't try to 'chase' anyone who overtakes you. Pretend you haven't even noticed).

Paying for things when we're out, opening doors for me etc. But I think most men are aware of that sort of thing.
  • I second being kind to animals. Offering to take the dog out for a walk. Bringing in bins/taking out rubbish without being asked. Bringing home little gifts regularly: inexpensive stuff just thoughtful and consistent. Giving nice compliments (mine recently said I'm better looking than Cindy Crawford & insisted it was true when I laughed bless him). I also second being big/tall with a bit of chunk over muscles: a big cuddly bear :) all the standard old fashioned gentleman stuff: opening doors, carrying heavy stuff, etc. Being kind to children. Knowing when to protect his woman and knowing when she can handle it herself! Cuddling and being affectionate anywhere around anyone. That combination of nice, kind, manly, humourous, genuinely good- very attractive. Dont know why some women like 'bad boys' I just want to give them a slap :) if a guy is genuinely a good person and a nice guy I can go round picking up their half drunk brews, empty cans, PJ bottoms, tidying up after them. If theyre a mean guy I can kill them just for looking at me wrong ;)

Protectiveness, being gentlemen (to some extent, walking next to the kerb isn't needed) xd I love a protective guy

I am actually suprised how many want gifts/paying for, maybe the first date but after that?

Adds *a guy who is not a push over and doesn't let women walk all over him*
