Revolut or WeSwap

I have a revolut card but soon they will start charging a percentage for cash withdrawals over £200 per month. Looking online I also see about one called WeSwap that looks good- goes anyone have an experience of these/?

Does WeSwap charge for ATM withdrawal? That's all I need. Two years ago used Supercard but they started charging. Last year Revolut- started charging... there is a pattern developing here.

The monzo account looks good- tried applying but it seems Im on a waiting list to get card-at number 29000 odd so doubt that will happen in time for trip in a months time

When recommending Monzo it's best to mention that applying via the link in the MSE article bypasses the waiting list, and if you then load your £100 the card arrives a day or two later.

Having already signed up, were you able to reapply using the link?

    yes no problems
  • Monzo card arrived this morning. Activated it and they immediately texted me a pin number
  • I have moved from Revolut to Globcoin and it works pretty well. They have more currencies available compared to Revolut, very good exchange rate and client service. So far I recommend!

Thanks, looks interesting at first glance, live mid-market rates, IBAN, six currencies...

"Access and manage your personal account on any devices" - but hang on... "MOBILE APP AVAILABLE SOON!"

There's some kind of travel insurance included - that's suspicious...

    Let's look at the pricing:

    https://glob-coin.com/pricing

Oh yes, a long list of charges, €4.90 monthly fee, PIN change €3.90, 3% FX spread on currencies other than the six, declined transaction fees (!) etc etc.

    Oh well...
