Picking up children and got a postal fine

  • There actually wasn't anywhere else safe to drop off or pick the children up. It was Christmas and all the 1/2h drop off bays were full and this carpark was the only one that the grandparents knew. Outside the carpark was a busy bus station.

You were free to pay for using it though?
  • I am very sorry to have wasted your time I realise my mistake. It was just a place i had used for years to drop off and a costly one on my behalf. I will contact the debt people and arrange a payment plan.

considering the number of times "smart" have been to court , I suggest you hold tight and NOT arrange a payment plan

Hi, due to my nan passing away I didn't use my popla code and have received 2 red letters and now a threat letter from scs law, but they have stated that my contravention is displaying an expired ticket and being asked to pay £155. My actual pcn was for being in the carpark for 16mins and not purchasing a ticket. So it seems like I've got two different charges?? I'm not sure what to do about this. Can anyone advise me please.

Just quoting the OP's post from page 2 of this thread in case the useful people missed it due to someone wanting to be noticed.

Of course you will NOT!

Surely a joke posting, you are not serious. DO NOT pick that phone up, get a grip. Come on, you can search the forum for 'SCS Smart' and read other threads already covering this daft letter. No-one PAYS!
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
