Can I cancel a switched Contract?

Hi,

I rang up T-Mobile on Friday to cancel my Flext Contract at the end of the contract. (next month) and downgrade to PAYG. They offered me U-Fix 15 for £5 per month, stating that it is better value than PAYG, which I said I would get back to them on, i then rang back and asked if the U-Fix Offpeak 15 would be available at the same price, which they agreed.

Doing some thinking about it over the weekend, I'm probably going to be better off with PAYG as my usage on the phone won't really make the £5 per month worth it. (I will probably only need to top up with a £10 every few months).

Is the switch to U-Fix classed as a new contract so I can cancel within 14 days? or am I stuck with it for a year now?

Cheers

Ben

Since your old contract hasn't finished, I would guess that you could cancel without penalty, what did they say when you asked them?
Well life is harsh, hug me don't reject me.
