ive booked to go miami in september, my plan was to get a pre paid card and load it with £100 every time i get paid from now untill i go, so it was a sort of savings account giving me around £1000 on it when i went away.
reading the pre paid card guide im now thinking to just get a santander zero credit card (ive a current account with them) and using that and then just paying that off when i return home. is that a better idea?
any other suggestions welcome...

If you were to change your £100 to dollars every month, using Revolut's interbank rate on weekdays, You would effectively be hedging against exchange rate fluctuations between now and your trip.
On the other hand you could be putting your money into an interest bearing account in pounds, saving up for your trip that way, and use the Zero card for the best fee free rates at the time.
Or do £50 each way and let us know which worked out best...Evolution, not revolution0 -
The best interest rates available are for the regular savings accounts offered by various banks, so that would be a better way to save for your spending rather than loading a travel card (and so not earning any interest).0

I would take another form of payment in case theres an issue with the santander card.0
