I wouldn't want there to be any confusion amongst people who don't know London - it isn't nestling in the foothills of Everest (the mountain, not the double-glazing company).

Meanwhile, back to the thread.
I would say that from what the OP has said, a solution based on a Freesat recorder and a separate Now TV box will give a good solution. The only solution that I am aware of that has the capability to record content from Internet-streamed channels is the TalkTalk Youview box.0 -

It's not necessarily about saving money
There is a loft aerial that is useless and a roof aerial is not practical
There are options such as BT vision that come with hard drives but it is about getting the right balance of availability and cost- not in enough to warrant sky movies and probably not even in enough to warrant sky these days0
