Thanks!
Hope you're feeling better soon, MM. There is no point in calling when you're not 'at your best' as you will need to be fully 'focused'.I am NOT, nor do I profess to be, a Qualified Debt Adviser. Certainly not at my best... will call them when I'm better if they haven't called me first.

I am an individual... I think there was a little confusion to what number came next so I was made 200 so we wouldn't be doubling up!

Well I just called the OR as I still haven't heard anything from them... The guy who answered the phone sounded surprised I hadn't received a pack from them yet but said they were snowed under at the moment! He said I should be receiving something shortly and not to worry. I said I wasn't worried just wanted to get it all sorted.
For some reason my biggest creditor (HSBC) haven't chased me in months and they've obviously not been told yet, it's very strange. Next have sent me another letter today even though I told them 2 days after my BR... am posting them a copy of the order today just to keep them happy!
Been wondering recently when I'll be getting my interview, it's going to be difficult to have a telephone interview during the day with me being at work... how do people get round this? Do you take time off?

HSBC are a huge organisation, & it's quite possible that they've been contacted by the OR & don't feel the need to contact you. If you contact them, they'll probably tell you what's been done about any accounts you had with them. Sometimes creditors don't contact you if they've already got the info they need from the OR - I never heard from two of mine again after I went BR, yet before that I could almost predict when they'd be ringing or writing. One of my banks (I didn't owe them anything, but I had to put them on the SOA as I had a current account with them) hasn't been in contact to this day, & I haven't contacted them either, so I assume the OR contacted them & they're satisfied with that.
As for having an interview at work, I'd try to get around that if you can & book the morning or afternoon off work. Better still, book the whole day off, so that you can relax before & after the call. Even though my building has plenty of offices I could slip into to take a call, I'd be on tenterhooks waiting for the call to come (sometimes they don't call at the arranged time, because they've been delayed dealing with someone else), & you can't know when a colleague is going to interrupt you, someone walk into the room etc. Also, while some calls are only a few minutes, many have gone on for quite a while, & you'll be conscious of not being at your desk/work area. If you can do it, book the time off & take the call at home - you'll be far more comfortable in your own surroundings, plus you'll be able to read from your SOA & any other documents, & discuss personal issues, without people craning their necks trying to pretend they're not listening.

I'm not sure I'll be able to take time off work, I only started in July, have already had a pre-booked holiday and I have been off sick for the last week and a half... I reckon I might be pushing it a bit asking for more time off! I am on flexi-time though so maybe I can arrange it later in the day or over my lunch hour. Thanks, will wait to hear from them...

No reason why the OR would object to that, at all, mm.I am NOT, nor do I profess to be, a Qualified Debt Adviser. I have made MANY mistakes and have OFTEN been the unwitting victim of the the shamefull tactics of the Financial Industry.
