New Amazon credit card launched this week with a £10 sign up bonus, and between 0.5% and 0.75% 'cash back' in the firm of Amazon vouchers when you reach £10.

Possibly only really useful for heavy Amazon spenders as other options for 0.5% but free bonus might be worth it

Thanks for finding, although the cashback is low. Amazon accepts AMEX cards which pay better cashback so it's a shame they only pay 0.75% for spending on their own site.

I tried this yesterday, was getting validation error when I submitted.

I do already have a NewDay card though.... but it doesn't mention that as an exclusion (other NewDay cards usually say you can't apply if you have another of our cards...)

Only wanted it for the tenner & to build credit file

Just tried again and got 'quote likely accepted'. No doubt that'll be a decline, but worth a shot.....

I got the likely to accept at 24.9% and went ahead with full app. Was told at the end it needed to go through underwriters, only want for amazon spend as I currently use my aqua cashback card.

Yea that's what I got this morning.

I'm expecting a no. I've got a long history with Aqua & their application fun and games!

The last app that went to underwriters they didn't even bother to give an update on (Thompson Holiday/Cashback).

I've saved the app number for this one, so will ring up if I don't get an update..... I've only had my Aqua Reward for 3 months (got a conditional accept for that too - expected a decline and it just popped through my door).

I had the same with another New Day card said it was a good chance but was declined on full application. Their soft search doesn't seem accurate

I checked with New Day previously you can have as many of their cards as you want :rotfl:

Nice looking card.
High APR.
Not the best reward rate but better than nothing.

Ive only recently got my second New Day Card (Marbles) - i reckon i should wait atleast 6 month, had i have known about the Amazon credit card i would have waited! O'well!
