Scotland FTB- areas in Alloa?

I live not far from Alloa and Sauchie, have lived in Alloa before and out of the town centre is fine, really nice. Personally, I wouldn't buy in Sauchie. However, I do have a friend who lived there, moved to Falkirk and then moved back to Sauchie and has recently bought a flat there. Some bits (as anywhere) are awful, but again on the outskirts there are OK places, you just need to visit at all times of the day/night and get a feel of the place. It's super close to Alloa for the supermarkets and shops etc.
Have you looked in Alloa? What size of house are you looking for?
I know what you mean about Dunblane and BofA - both my ideal place to live (but again they both have bad bits), but they're out of our price range at the moment.
Feel free to PM if you want any info on specific areas in case I can help.

Alloa is a good commuter town as it has its own train station which has free parking. Always a bonus! (as is the whole town - though there is time restrictions l, you don't pay for parking anywhere)0

I'm originally from grangemouth and now live/work in larbert, I'd avoid Sauchie as its quite known it's full of druggies.
Alloa itself has good and bad bits but I'd choose Alloa over Sauchie.
I'm selling my house in Stenhousemuir at Larbert High if you're interested in a 2 bed. Went on the market today.
