Edit : Oh, just noticed they don't have the airport checkin fee there. The fee is paid at time of booking if you have checked baggage, if can't use online checkin for any of the dozen or reasons Ryanair don't allow it or if you cannot checkin online because you don't have internet access.

If you have to pay it at the airport then they'll accept local money

The £2/3 euro charge is for airport priority check in.

If you don't want priority, do you not have to pay anything when you check in then?

If you booked your flight before 19th Sept. there is no check-in fee to be paid.
Just turn up at the airport and check-in as normal.
Forget about priority boarding,just get down to the gate in plenty of time and join the queue.
