Has anyone actually used this service and can they confirm that when you print your boarding card for your outward journey you also,at the same time, print your boarding card for your RETURN journey.

Only if your return flight is within twenty four hours.

I used it to print the outward journey at home. The bar code doesn't look like bar codes you see on food items, but it works OK

For the return journey three days later I used an internet cafe at my destination to print the baording cards.

    All went very smoothly

You can print your boarding card up to 24hrs before your flight. On the return journey - if you can't get to a pc - you can tell them at check-in that you have paid for priority boarding and they will give you a PB card. I have done this before. HTH

    Thanks for all the replies.
It seems the only sure-fire way to use this "check & go" service without infringing on Ryanair`s rules is to print your boarding card for the outward flight and then to find an internet cafe abroad with PRINTING facilities to get your return pass.

I really don`t want to spend time, when on a short 4 day break, scouring the place for a public PC which also allows printing.

    Hi,

may be a daft question but do I need to use my email account to get return ( foreign end) boarding card for online check in ?

I only have a work email address which I can't in Internet cafes.

    regards Anne

off the top of my head, I think I just needed the booking ref number and our passport details. I just logged onto the Ryanair site and logged into the account

I'm going to give it another go tomorrow, just in case I'm being a little early, but when I tried to check-in today for a flight leaving on Tuesday afternoon, it wouldn't let me. Either I AM too early or Ryanair won't let you check-in online if you unticked the online check-in option when it was still chargable (as in my case - I booked before the new rules came in, and online check-in was still being charged at £2 each way)

In case of problems, I've printed out the press release stating that the airport check-in charge only applies to bookings made after 20th September...

Can anyone confirm whether or not I am able to check-in online with RyanAir?

I made my booking back in May and did not pay the extra charge, for the online booking option, required at the time. I understand there is now no charge for this facility.

We are only away for a couple of days and will only have hand luggage.

    Many thanks

About a week before you go you should get an advisory email from Ryanair reminding you of your booking.
This email will also give you the chance to check-in online.
I hope you have read the posts here about that proceedure.
It`s eay enough to check-in online for the outward leg but if the return leg is more than 48 hours you will have to get online somewhere abroad and PRINT your return boarding card.

If you don't check in online, is there a fee to be paid at the airport when you do?
