Wired funds to a Spanish bank

Hi, my first post. I have sent 787 Euros from my NatWest account to a Spanish bank account as a holiday deposit. I have not heard from the company for 4 days since the payment and the message played when you call their office no states the phone is inactive. I really feel like I've been scammed, they do have a seemingly good website and i did talk to them about a week ago. Do i have any recourse one getting my money back if I've been scammed or is it just bite the bullet and accept it ?

Have you checked with the Spanish bank if they have actually paid the money into their account ?

How did you actually make the Euro payment, assuming that your bank account is in sterling?
There is no protection whatsoever if you use bank transfer-always use a debit or credit card to pay 3rd parties that you cannot verify.
However, if it's only 4 days (including Sunday?) since you made the transfer, then, given that the currency conversion has to be made, I think it's a bit early to assume a scam.
A scammer would usually have used some ruse like offering you a discount for full early payment, rather than just going for the deposit.
No free lunch, and no free laptop ;)

Bad luck; you might be lucky, but given the number of scams of theis type, Tripadvisor has useful advice about holiday lets, including never paying by bank transfer- i.e. "wiring money"!

And, if you have been robbed, regrettably a bit late for you. Sympathies
