PAYG Credit Just Disappeared!!

I have a basic PAYG Nokia for emergencies that I keep in the car. I topped it up online last year with £15 of credit. Made 1 or 2 calls and I still had over £14 left the last time I checked. Now it has insufficient credit to connect a call (25p). Does EE have a cut off point where it just deletes your remaining credit if you don't use it within certain time limits? I've had a look at the T&Cs but can't find this detail. Anyone familiar with EE Pay as you go?

See my post below yours.
If they didn't deactivate numbers that haven't been used for over 6 months then we would already be out of new numbers to issue.0 -
It's not deactivated, but the best part of £14 seems to have gone from the account. I'm positive I didn't make any calls totalling that much.0

I think he means the same as myself as regards the phone being deactivated.
As it happens this is from yesterday:

Are you sure the number is still active?0 -

That article is from April 2013. But its advice is still generally valid - most PAYG numbers will disconnect on average after six months if you don't use them.0 -

Yes I can receive calls on it. Called it from my landline, and had a strongly worded conversation with myself.0 -

Some MVNOs delete your unused credit after a certain period, some 90 days, but if EE has started doing this with their PAYG it would be remarkable. You need to check with them what happened to your credit.Evolution, not revolution0
