    Anywhere in England or Wales from any EU company, as you have a 6 year guarantee with regard to manufacturing faults (which the retailer, if still around, should face off for in the first instance).

    (5 years in Scotland).

    Of course, within those 6 years, we might exit such EU laws.

    It's a hell of a lot easy to get a fix via a free 5/6 year warranty than it is to exercise you statutory consumer rights. I'd like to see you persuade someone like Currys to give you a new TV if your's breaks down after 5 years.
