    Customer service is excellent:

Weeks after buying the latest tv, I called for advice about connecting up my Wii, as the connections differ from those on the old one.

Then ,just before Christmas (tv 2 years old), I rang for advice on using 3D, as ,until then, we didn't have access to it.

Also, when I had a problem linking my laptop via Bluetooth to a set of speakers, only two of the three being from them, they invited me to take the lot up to the showroom, to see if they could help . (They couldn't as it turned out to be a software problem, now sorted but they spent nearly an hour trying.)

Costco - limited choice of TV's compared to RS (which are obviously good as well).

We bought a 46 sammy from them in early 2011 for circa £1500. In late 2012 lines developed on the left hand side of the screen, only visibile on certain background colours but were there on the test screen too. I called up the Costco number - within a few days a local repair agent came round to take a look and diagnosed faulty panel. They said there and then that the panel is quite expensive (not above the normal threshold of cost) but was on a 2 month back order. A week later had a call from the repair agent saying that the TV was beyond economical repair and to just take it back to Costco.

Went in with TV (no box obviously) got a refund for the £1500 no questions asked and said I could either get another from them or go elsewhere. They had an LG 65" 4K for the same price - was rude not to have that! Again, 5 yr warranty on that too. Lets hope that it packs up at sometime between 48 and 60 months old.....
