Depends on where the property is, I've seen lovely 3 bed houses with massive gardens in the Midlands where my friend lives for around £150k. Where I live in north London you couldn't get a cupboard for that..0

As it's a maisonette there is a limited market. Plus I live in the NW... Prices are never going to be on a similar level as the SE..
Separate main entrance leading onto a beautiful staircase up 3 floors.
It's actually a victorian property above a 2 bed GFF. Also has the potential for 2 more rooms to be added. The dimensions are fantastic. 20by18 in the living room. 20by20 in the main bedroom. Large dining room around 16by18 flowing onto an avg sized kitchen maybe 12by15. 2 more bedrooms 1 could be described as a box the other is L shaped again with generous proportions.
We're so happy with it Crashy it's such a shame that you can't be happy for me.
I suppose you have the best knowledge of properties having flitted between HMO'S and studio apartments. I couldn't imagine anything worse TBH.0 -

Why the big interest in shutting down price crash conversations if you are so happy?0 -

Shutting them down??? You have every right to post on here with your opinion and I have every right to post an opposing opinion. I know you're used the HPC site but that's how proper debate forums work.
I find it an interesting subject. Have done since I was 16... is that not allowed?0 -

You would have been 16 around the time of 9/11? House prices had yet to be properly "juiced" by the bankers and their puppets, (Conspiracy hat on) indeed rate were cut in response to 9/11 were they not (conspiracy hat off) so I find it strange that house prices would have held any interest for you then?0 -

Why would a 16 year old be thinking about owning their own place?0 -

Maybe I don't wear the same foil hat. Because the idea of my own space / freedom was a massive incentive.0
