  • I was thinking this is a possible solution however not sure if it's good idea to send them anything back to say she is no longer living in the UK, and what if they send her a court order whilst she is away, as soon as she comes back for a holiday will she become liable for any decisions made by court i.e. would she get arrested? or get bad credit score etc. I do not want to cause any legal issues for her.
  • NO , inform them of new (abroad) address they CANNOT start court action , if they do , they are in trouble

but you MUST inform of new address (a postcard with a nice stamp is nice as well)

    would she get arrested?

this is civil , not criminal

if they do start court action (illigally) it will affect there credit in the UK (UK only) for 6 yrs , after that nothing
