Ok, so VM have upped my bill yet again! Now paying £20 more than 12 months ago. Rang up today asking for a better offer. They reduced it by a paltry £9 pm. I said I wanted to cancel. They told me to go away and find a better deal then to come back to them and they will match it. Problem is I can't find a deal that matches it! They're the fastest broadband speed in this area and my boys will go mad if I reduce the speed by going to another firm. Any advice as to how to sort it out?

Got you over a barrel .#if there are no better deals .
One are you out of contract if not you have no leverage at all .0 -
well if you told us how much you pay and what services you get,
there is a small chance someone would find you a deal so you could get it price matched.
or look at

Drop to the lower tv package or the home phone.
Maybe you need to restrict how much they are on the internet ?0 -

Price up what you actually need re services first .
If its a disgrace then leave them .0 -

"VIVID 200 Gamer is the perfect connection for gamers who want it all when they're playing online games like Destiny: Rise of Iron. It does all the stuff VIVID up to 200Mbps is famous for – but with upload speeds up to 20Mbps. You could play, stream gameplay and chat to your teammates, all at the same time. Plus, you won’t run into traffic management. So you can game on, and on and on."
Not a gamer myself, but it certainly sounds like there is no substitute. Do some chores boys, to pay for the broadband! No doubt it's too late, and they are just spoilt for the rest of their lives.0 -

I wondered if they were using it for gaming too but didn't want to assume, if that's the case then yes maybe the boys should get enlisted to do the chores.0 -
Changing to (say) Sky fibre unlimited will make no difference to your two lads gaming. Create a Sky package and show Virgin the price.0
