Dual car insurance - advice on which company to use please

  • These responses are very helpful - i have contacted both of our existing insurers (Provident and Hastings Direct) and they cant help us - have got a quote from Admiral as a multi car policy and it seems competitive.

There also seems to be variations on multi car policies - some give discounts on future policies as they are added but Admiral pulls them all together at the onset, only problem with that is i have to pay now for two policies that don't need renewing until March and May.

Is there a search engine just for multi car policies i wonder?

Well that's not correct according to Admiral's site:

    http://www.admiral.com/multi-car-insurance/?&media=amc2e&cm_mmc=Google-_-PPC-_-CarInsurance-_-Brand&gclid=CIOI5Pn9t9ECFVRnGQodeakDSA

Says you can start the policy with one car and add others later when due for renewal. maybe you only pay now to lock-in the current quotes?

i was with Admiral; they are good for getting the documents (online) and answering the phone but palm you off to Albany Assistance for non-fault claims (see reviews of them) and hike renewals so you always have to haggle every year which is tedious and would be unnecessary if they gave you their best quote in the first place. I left for cheaper seperate quotes.
