  • I was wondering where I could find info on my local police auctions (the ones that sell stolen goods)? A friend of mine managed to bag £150 worth of Benefit make-up (you girls will know what im on about!) for only £15... and I want to get some bargains too!

I have searched on the net, but only stolen found car auctions...

why don't you ask your friend which site she was on? (then you can tell us!! lol)

Funnily enough, the one my friend went to was also in scotland... maybe you have alot of them up there??

I am from Manchester/Cheshire.... Altrincham to be exact.

There's quite a few in manchester (not as many as there once was). Buy Friday's Manchester Evening News, that's when the auction adverts are in. Most are hold either fortnightly or monthly, so you need to keep checking.

There is also Yellow Pages (that's not a flippant suggestion), it has specific sections with detailed adverts, contact numbers and websites and doesn't send you on a wild goose chase of auctions you can't get to (like doing a google search can).

  • Cheers for that RFW. I'll check the M.E.N later!

anyone got anymore sites on these, as i tried to do the one above and they dont really deliver, lazy police

In all honesty, I'd much prefer them to be out catching criminals, rather than delivering stolen/recovered items!!
<--- Nothing to see here - move along --->
  • cheers pink princess... ill check it out!

  • Can I just say thanks for this thread which I have just stumbled upon. I have discovered that there is an Auction Room about 5 miles from my house that has lots of police stuff and they've got an auction on Saturday so I think I'm going to drag my husband along to have a bit of a nose!

    Cheers
