I have noticed that visiting the German Thomas cook site, the same hotel I have been looking at is around £200 cheaper.
Has anyone ever done this before and if so any complications? is it viable for a uk based traveller to book a hotel only from a Thomas cook german site?
kind regards
chris

I have booked on lots of different countries websites before as its cheaper. Whenever I book I always email the hotel directly and ask them to confirm that my booking is in their system. Out of interest what hotel is it and what dates?0

Laguna Beach Hotel and spa (Mauritius)
All inclusive, 2nd April 11 nights
Might give it a go then.
some websites in uk are charging £1800 per room for a double deluxe all inclusive v £1500 via Thomas cook German site.
hardest thing is navigating around a different language on the site0 -
I use the Norway website for my Norweigan flights as that is cheaper and not had any issues. I wouldnt be too concerned as Thomas Cook are a reputable company0

I've done the same with Thomson/TUI. Booked on tui.de as it was a lot cheaper than Thomson or First Choice. The hotel didn't bat an eyelid when we arrived and even handed us a load of Thomson welcome stuff.0
