Hi all,
My main entry doors has a glass and the door
I want to block 100% view from outside to inside even if someone is sticking their head right on the window
Is their a film or something youn apply to it that doesn't look ugly?
Something that doesn't even show a shadow of someone

and you are ok with blocking the light out? I can't think of anything with transparancy that will do this.2021 GC £1365.71/ £24000

The easiest way is to put something solid across the glass like tin foil. If you do not want it shiny then spray paint it. Cardboard from a box, hardboard and plywood also works. It's as ugly as you make it.0 -
Curtains hung from a rail?I used to be indecisive but now I am not sure.0

Who are you hiding from? Put some Fablon frosted stuff on it, and on the very very rare occasion someone presses their face against the glass throw a bucket of water out of the upstairs window.Mr Generous - Landlord for more than 10 years. Generous? - Possibly but sarcastic more likely.0

You can get films that stop any view but you won't stop shadows unless you're willing to stop all of the light.0

Well not hiding from anyone but want total privacy as someone can see my kitchen and living room through it
My door looks like this

Does that film from ebay link block all light as well?
Maybe something that is like mirror so you can see from inside to outside but not other way. Like interviewing rooms in prison as seen in movies
What are those kind of glass called?0 -

Any film that lets light through will let people see in at night. Anything that blocks the view will make it much darker.
What about venetian blinds hung either side of the door left down but horizontal during the day but vertical at night?
Oh the thing you can't remember the name of is "one-way glass" or "one-way mirror". Shops use it too.0
