BT monthly Broadband Usage incorrect?

Hello,
I've been with BT Broadband for 9 years and never really had a problem with them.
Yesterday I received an email telling me I had used almost all of my monthly Broadband Usage up (within 5 days!)
I logged onto my account and it said:
You have used 89.97 GB of your monthly 90 GB allowance and have 0.03 GB. Your average monthly usage is 28.16 GB.
There is no way I have used that much in 5 days, especially when I've only used one tablet for casual browsing!!
I've phoned BT (after been switched between 6 people on live chat) and they accused me of handing my Wifi password out, and said they will charge me extra per GB that I use this month.
Is there anything I can do?

Firstly i would change your wifi password just incase someone has got hold of it.
I would then get a reading of how much you have used, dont use for 24 hours and see what happens.0 -
Thank you for your reply.
I will change my wifi password, but I've never gave my password out (and all my neighbours are 80+).
It's worth a try though!0 -
