Virgin Media and moving house

Hi - I am a current virgin media broadband customer and moving house to an area not supported by them.
Is it correct I have to pay off the remaining contract?
I understand the contract is tied to the current house but they offer a service to move the contract over and because they do not support the area I am then punished? Doesn't seem fair to me.
I am a willing and wanting customer of their service so I don't understand why I am having to pay up.
Is there any way around this?

Yes you do. You agreed to buy a service for a set period of time and you're the one that's chosing to end that agreement.0

I don't want to end the agreement, I am being left with no choice but I do understand where you are coming from.0

You're the second person this week alone with this issue and unfortunately the answers no different. Wish I could say otherwise but you're stuck with it.0 -

Appreciate that but whether you want to or are forced to, it's not Virgin's problem. Sorry if I come across harsh but that's just the way it is I'm afraid. Been "stung" myself previously for a similar thing.0
