Best place to buy a new sim-free mobile from?
Options
If you were buying a Samsung Galaxy S7 sim free outright, which deal would you do?
John Lewis - £519
Very.co.uk - £450 paying through their Very Account with the 10% off for first customer order?
Not sure how Quidco/TCB cashback would be affected by using the Very 10% off for for first customer order (I do find a lot of the "rules" for cashback etc somewhat hard to understand as they can be somewhat complicated!).
Cheers!

Check out the warranty and repair policy before purchase. There have been some reports of repair problems on this forum, under warranty it's down to the retailer.
Three shops sell unlocked mobiles too, no idea about cost or warranty though.0 -
I would be buying it from Amazon personally.0

I asked in Three, hoping as a customer (sim-only) they might be competitve - £569!!0

not new or sim free , but the O2 Refresh deals are worth looking out for.0 -
Myself? John Lewis for their extended warranty. I've never used them myself but from what I've seen here on MSE (and elsewhere) the reviews seem to be more positive than negative.
Might be worth keeping an eye out here: https://www.mobilephonechecker.co.uk/sim-free-phones/ (found the link through MSE).It's not your credit score that counts, it's your credit history. Any replies are my own personal opinion and not a representation of my employer.0 -

.
I ahve used JL for big ticket items, not for phone though, and found the service & extended warranty worth the posible extra cost
With JL click & collect is OK for delivery to a local Waitrose, so could be handy for phone and security, not being in for delivery etcEight out of ten owners who expressed a preference said their cats preferred other peoples gardens0 -
Thankfully there is a John Lewis near me, but the price has now gone up there to £554!
Had a look on O2 refresh and the only ones I can find on there are the "perfect" ones for about £4750 -
I bought my LG from Very - got topcashback and the new customer discount. I did need a warranty repair but find it easier to deal with the manufacturer direct even though I know the retailer is technically responsible, they likely end up back at the manufacturer repair agent anyway.0
