Thanks OP, Ill take a chance, of course I will have to try out a tin when they arrive. If they are ok I can wrap a couple up for the kids for Christmas. Perhaps I wouldn't go as far as giving them to other people as gifts just in case they are white. I also ordered some wrapping paper and stuff so I'm pleased. Thanks again0

I just wonder what a kid or their parents for that matter will think of receiving a tin months out of date?
Cheapskate miserable b******* or similar perhaps?0 -
Maybe some kids arnt spoilt and grateful to receive a present, even if they are OOD0

I have used them a couple of times. No problems and would happily use them again. It used to be a studio outlet and then changed names. HTH0

i wouldnt give them as gifts but one of our friends was a v senior manager for a multinational sweetie firm and he told us that the chocolate was good for at least a year after the sell by date with no loss of quality in flavour or texture, even after that they were still safe to eat but might not taste quite the same'We're not here for a long time, we're here for a good time0
