Puzzles me why they let me set it up and deposit the initial £10 and then says over my limit which is zero and then asks for ID. But it still took my £10.
This sounds like a glitch on their part. The ID verification is compulsory for AML purposes, but not until you reach your top up limits. Unless they tightened their rules?
Revolut wasn't able to send me a card after two attempts, though. Customer support was far from helpful, luckily enough I could use the virtual card number to transfer the topup money to Monzo.0 -
Revolut eventually managed to send me a card after i topped up via my debit card as ID. I have live here for 20 years and have plenty of stuff on my credit file as proof.
The Pockit card never arrived. I will have to get onto them. I want the card or my 99p back

But is your account actually verified or not? You had no photo ID to present. If not, be careful, although it may be active now it could become blocked at any time, requiring you to verify before you can get your money out or do anything. You can check whether you are verified already in the 'profile' section of the app, or by asking via the chat.forgotmyname wrote: »Revolut eventually managed to send me a card after i topped up via my debit card as ID. Yes verified by topping up £10 by my debit card. Which was a PITA itself. It kept coming up topup over limit. But you could not topup less than £10.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0
