I found a great tip on that thread years ago about squeezing the toilet roll before you put it on the dispenser. Makes it harder to use so they don't use great wads of it.My mortgage free diary: https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6498069/whoops-here-comes-the-cheese

Wow Naomin your going great on the savings. I did start watering down the washing up liquid and chopping dishwasher tablets in two but have let things slide lately. Time to rethink the penny pinching methinksDedicated Debt Free Wanabee 🤓

Ah see, this is things I wont do! I tried Ald! washing up liquid but found I needed twice as much so went back to Fairy. Also tried cheap dishwasher tabs but found they didn't always dissolve. It's all trial and error.Credit Cards NOV 2019 £33,220.42 Sept 2023 £19,951.00 Tilly Tidy 20223/COLOR] Sept £43.71 Here's my diary: A Ditherer's Diary Again0

Aldi lemon dishwasher tablets.
We use m and s sensitive washing up liquid due to both having skin probs. Its Mr M_F whos too heavy handed with the liquid. The sinks more foam than water when hes washing up.Dedicated Debt Free Wanabee 🤓

I have spent a happy Saturday reading your thread, well done for sticking at it.I really must pull myself together, so am considering if a thread of my own will make me feel more accountable, or if it will be another good intention I don’t follow through 😖Not all who wander are lost - J.R.R.Tolkien
