I'm sure it does, not suffered myself - unless you count post natal depression as the same??

I do (although not got kids myself). It's all different side of the same coin I reckon!

    too many comps..not enough time!

It was over 9 years ago now with my 1st daughter. I think it was just a shock to the system having my 1st child and suffered for a few weeks but managed to get myself out of it asap. Luckily with my 2nd daughter (she's 19 months) I was fine. I was determined this time not to let it happen again!

My mum had bad post natal depression with me, but she seemed to be okay with my younger brothers.

Thanks! That pic was taken about 6 months ago so she's changed a bit!
I think some people are probably more susceptible to it than others, my mum had it when I was born but I think thats because I was ill so things were harder for her.

My neice is 19 months. Every time I see her shes learnt something new. Cant wait until christmas, it gets better as they get older. Last time I saw her 5 months ago she was running my partner round the house, him acting like her walking stick. She now walks on her own and is a right little chatterbox apparently. If only my nephew would come out of his shell, bless hes a year older but so shy.

They're all different. My eldest did things at a completely different age than my youngest. DD1 is more academic and always has been, when she was a toddler she could solve jigsaws and puzzles the first time she tried but DD2 has no interest yet! DD2 is more interested in eating mud in the garden!! :rotfl: She doesn't talk yet either but we can understand her completely through her way of communicating!
