:eek: dd was putting little ds's sock on this morning and he kept complaining something was in it and she put her hand in the sock and pulled out a massive crawling wasp, luckily it didnt sting him

That happened to me once, only it did sting me. I thought I'd trodden on a drawing pin or something, tipped out my sock to find a bl**dy enormous wasp. I hate wasps anyway so I put my DS in his cot out the way (shows how long ago it happened) and...showed the wasp that stinging me was a very BAD idea:mad:

I now hang all my socks on the washing line differently, with the sock openings folded over so the peg goes over them so it doesn't happen again.

Paranoid. Moi?;)
