Hi guys, just wanted to ask a quick question, something I have been meaning to ask for a few days now..

How do you do a merge request??

Do you pm Kipper for example with the threads or is there another way? Have always been hesitant to pm anybody with this request as I am sure their pm inbox is always receiving mail.
So thought I would ask whilst I remember

You are quite right about the merge request.

Simply send a pm to one of the board guides (it would probably be better to share them around all 3 board guides!) A link to the BG's profiles is on the bottom of each of the forum pages, but I'll copy paste here for ease

divadee, heatherw_01, kipper

If you click on one of those names then you should get their profile page & from there can send a pm.

The title should let them know it is a 'Merge Request'

The content should contain something like:

Orginial Thread: (put the URL here)*

Dupe Thread: (put the URL here)*

Hope this is clear, if not ask again & either I can try again a different way or someone else could probably explain it clearer!

*Just in case - to copy a URL simply highlight the address in the bar at the top of your browser window (eg, http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=637587), then right click & select copy from the list which appears. Click your mouse back in your pm box where you want the URL to show up & right click then select paste from the list wihch appears.

Hope you lot don't have too much of a hangover - no such luck here! We put our youngest to bed at 9.30pm hoping she might have a lie in this morning but she was still up at 6am (I didn't go to bed until after 1am) :eek: VERY tired. Now I have a kitchen full of dishes to sort out then I think i'll go back to bed when oh gets up. :rotfl: Luckily we have no plans for today! Have a nice day. :xmassmile
