Help!
I'm on a pay monthly contract with O2 and for the 2nd time this year my sony erricson has gone kaput (first was the contract phone, 2nd was a PAYGO O2 phone that I put the PAYM sim into)
I've now check all the O2 PAYG phones and they start at £50 (which I can't afford right now)
I really need my phone back on, was wondering if it would be possible to buy a cheap phone from argos or tesco (obviously on another network) as they are cheaper, and to unlock it to use my O2 sim in, please can anyone advise?
i.e. which one to go for as having read the forum on unlocking, it seems like a bit of a minefield and the last thing i want to do is end up with a locked phone to another network
Thanks ever so much in advance
Sara

Carphone warehouse online has 02 phones from 24.95 including 10 credit
Or ebay were you can pick up older models for a tenner
Obviously one from carphone warehouse will have a years warranty so might be a better option0 -
