Shall I ring estate agents?

I'm sure everyone uses Rightmove?0

I'm sure most do.
I'm sure others also walk up and down the high st and look in estate agent windows.0 -
OP, and as it's now Friday, you could suggest to the agent this morning that they should let you know the score " if only so you know whether to widen your house-search over the weekend"... That's not rude, but common sense
And as regards'...fairygoodgirl wrote: »Thanks for the reply.
It is with two estate agents, not sure whether to ring the other and see if they can seal the deal? Or is this unethical?
Using two agents suggests that the vendor is inexperienced, or a prevaricator, but whatever, it will land them in problems if they have two agents on the case so while that's their probem, it won't help them... so I wouldn't.
And while we're assuming the vendor is dragging things out - maybe in the hope of getting better offers - it could be anything. We once offered on a house, got a refusal, then upped the offer on the next Tuesday. Having heard nothing by the Friday afternoon, werang the agent, as we were about to go to sealed bids on another property....
...to learn that our offer had been accepted but they'd not got round to telling us! Grrr; EAs; doncha luvvem?0 -

It is a bit of a strange situation? The vendors are moving to a new build in Mar, but the negotiations are having to go through them and the developer that they purchased from? We have actually got two more viewings Saturday and going to look at a new build development too. Am going to ring EA now and get an update!
Thanks!0 -
So apparently sales directors were in a meeting yesterday (long meeting and could have updated me either way) apparently they are on her list to call today? Wont be getting my hopes up for that!0
