Shall I ring estate agents?

We have found a property we want to buy. It is up at 214950 and we initially put an offer in at 200k which was rejected, so we went up to 205k and the EA said that the developer (part exchanged property) was looking to get 210k to which I said no. She said she would contact the developer and see if they can sort something! That was Tuesday!
Don't know whether to call them as I don't want to come across desperate? It is also on the market with another EA?

No reason not to. Ask how they're getting on.fairygoodgirl wrote: »It is also on the market with another EA?
I don't know. It might be. Perhaps search for it through RightMove?0 -
Thanks for the reply.
It is with two estate agents, not sure whether to ring the other and see if they can seal the deal? Or is this unethical?0 -
Unless the second agent is marketing it at a very different price, it's probably a waste of time.0

EA's don't generally have ethics.0 -

Remember, they don't work for you. They work for their client, the person selling you the house.0 -
How long has it been on the market for? Is it likely that there has been an offer at a price the seller will accept?0
-
It's been on since beginning of December. It maybe the case, however I thought they would have had the decency to let me know given that I am still a potential house buyer that may have used their services in the future.0
