Firstly, it's a correction not 'updating'. The information was incorrect from the very start.

Secondly, as I said many times, it's not just a 'news story'. Unfortunately, it keeps popping up as a top result of google searches and searching MSE. Either correct the 'story' or hide/delete it and stop misleading people that trust MSE. As simple as that.

What we fought for has been our undoing

ETA: BTW, the bit "Seven-day switching works when switching like to like" is incorrect too as "seven day switching" works fine when switching from a sole to a joint account.

Unfortunately, "Forum rules " don't help with understanding what exactly was "rude" or "abusive". Is it just me?
