Credit card to build average credit score?

in Credit cards
Hi All,
I took a look at my credit score and the only "Negative" I have on it was that I don't have a credit card. My score isn't bad so I don't need a credit card that is only tailored for those with bad credit but I would like one which will build my credit (I'm just going to put petrol on it and pay it straight off immediately).
I bank with Natwest and would like to stay with them preferably (I can use the app then and it makes life a little easier).
I've found a 'Clear Rate Platinum Credit Card' from Natwest and I was wondering if this one will help with building a credit score further?
I'm completely new to credit cards and its purely to put £50-£100 on a month and pay off immediately so any other advice would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance!
Dan

Any card will help you build a credit history. All you're looking to do is use it regularly and clear it full each month. Don't pay it immediately - wait for the statement.
If you've not had credit before, try your own bank or a sub prime card.
Ignore any credit score you've been given. They're meaningless and not seen or used by anyone.0 -

Brilliant, thanks for the quick reply - I appreciate that.0 -
Set up a direct debit to pay the full balance each month so that you don't accidentally miss a payment0
