If you consider System Restore to be important this tool is useful because it reliably creates restore points (e.g. on a daily basis or whenever you want) and runs automatically.
Most @home users don't realise its been disabled since Anniversary but "restore Windows 10 and KEEP data files" works (most of the time), with the annoyance of losing program installations. If that doesn't work Windows10 complete reinstalls are easy to do (e.g. licensing is not an issue) AFTER ensuring that data files have been backed up to a separate media.0 -

Yes it's easy but it's a pain reinstalling programs and settings. A restore point that works is a much better alternative.0
