How has your week been?

My week's been ok apart from being woke up at 7:30am by the police cos my car was involved in a murder a few weeks ago (before i got it)

Mine was fine up until this afternoon when picked eldest up from school and was informed by his teacher that he'd been fighting in afternoon break >:(
On questioning 4 year old informs me he was sent to an office!
I manage to go all my school days without ever being sent to the head, he hasn't managed one full week >:(

Corrina I hope all is well for your hubby, I had my  :'( to Judi earlier in the week, but I have my health and sense of humour to keep me going as we know you can always find someone else worse off than yourself. And to think I was threatening to crawl under the desk at work and NEVER come out because the internet connection at work failed on Monday.

We were going out late morning for the rest of the day so arranged for a techie to come and look at it first thing Tuesday. He fixed it, went away and it broke half an hour later, this time taking the network connection with it.

Second techie guy came in the afternoon, fixed it, and it lasted about an hour, only their phone was permanently engaged so it took another hour to get through to them, by which time I'd HAD ENOUGH and went home.

First techie guy came back Wednesday morning, fixed it and it lasted two hours. I went and got him and a chunk of computer hardware from his office, he swapped that bit of hardware for one of our bits, and I took him and our original hardware back to his office.

Meanwhile I had two people visiting the office trying to do different things on the computers which was a bit tricky, ESPECIALLY when we wanted to print, which we couldn't because we didn't have a network, although we could if we had what we wanted to print on a floppy, but at that precise moment one of the b***** printers decided to stop working so we were roaming around the office trying to work out which bits were still functional ...

Thursday and Friday were, compared to that, a bit of a doddle ...
