Morning, thanks for all your good advice and support last night.
I've spoken to a very helpful man at Northampton county court who confirmed the CCJ is for my old address and he's posting out the N244 set aside papers.
I'm going to email BW Legal today pointing out the action that I have taken and the 'errors' that they have made in using my old address - shysters!
Any words of wisdom for any legal terms or breaches that I can refer to sound like I know what I'm taking about please?!0 -
I suggest you read this recent blog if you have not done so

B+W have made no errors (?) under currant UK legislation they sent court papers to the address given to the PPC at the time of the incident by the DVLA.
not in your case , but in some cases this can be 5 yrs and 11 mths after the incident , and under currant UK practice Mail forwarding is not available for this period

I would attach a copy of the Government press release I linked for you and use words like 'the private parking industry was singled out for its poor practice'. You could add that it is appalling that they are systematically wrecking credit records of registered keepers with no evidence of any contravention or signage terms, let alone proof of liability as driver.
On this forum, we have coined the phrase 'credit clamping' and feel this is actually far worse in terms of greed and impact, than the wheel-clamping that Simon Renshaw-Smith (owner/Director of Excel) used to be infamous for when he was nicknamed 'Captain Clampit' before he made his fortune out of the misery of motorists and now moves about in the 'horsey set':

Make sure you provide all refs (whatever you have, PCN number, VRN, etc). but don't say who was driving.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
