You can claim ESA while still employed so don't need a P45.Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.0

If sick and have run out of ssp yes. Can you not go back to the managers and suggest the career break starts the day your ssp runs out?0

I really don't think your boss email to you on a public forum is wise. I sympathise with you thocopy of the email from my manager from December so have that i writing. Today I gave them the date I would fininsh work and proposed month i would return.
I think they have to pay you thro ssp

We've established that they have to pay ssp if i choose the sick route, keep up we are now on what money can i get if i take the career break0 -

An update especially for someone in the future who needs to decide on career breaks.
What my employers have forgotten / neglected to tell me is ...
On a career break as you are no longer employed, on your return you will have a new contract. I'd also loose my safety net of being disabled and employed for more than 2 years.0 -

Oh you poor thing, they really are giving you the run around. I'd go get legal advice ASAP. Are you in a union? Or cal ACAS0
