    Hi Coupon-Mad,

Yes, I've had a read of the newbies thread and got the expected (automated) response from UK CPM which offered another chance to appeal and quoted a bunch of laws/acts.

So I guess I'm at the next stage of expecting debt collector letters. How long can I expect to receive these for? And will definitely (eventually) get a LBCCC or small claim?

You will expect to get them for a few months, sometimes regurgitated up to six years later, so if you move house, inform them/the debt collectors too, of the new address in writing and keep proof, to avoid this unnecessarily complicated and stressful fight:

As for likelihood of court, I always say Google 'BMPA Insight' followed by the name or acronym of a parking firm and that page tells you how many court claims they filed, compared to tickets issued.

Very unlikely, but if it happens, very defendable.
I'm not the registered keeper (someone within my family is).
The registered keeper is getting the letters? So the registered keeper would have to defend, are they up to it?
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
CLICK at the top or bottom of any page where it says:

  • Ye I figured the registered keeper would have to defend, which could be a problem but I'll if I can twist their arm!

Thanks for all the help so far.
