Dial-a-phone: number porting to O2
Dial-a-phones website states that they can't port numbers to O2. I can't see where the problem is. Companies like e2save and MobileShop don't have this restriction. Has anyone attempted to do this successfully with DialaPhone?
I'm currently on O2 online business and they said there wouldn't be any problem porting my old number to O2 monthly but I couldn't get a definitive answer from O2 monthly customer services (O2 monthly and O2Online Business are different business units).

Dial-a-phone don't migrate and won't, must be something to do with the referral kickback they get for new customers2p off is still 2p off!0

If you're not expecting any cashback or any other deals from Dial-a-phone then why not ask the network itself to port your number over.
I wouldn't recommend doing this if you are expecting cashback, etc though as you may not be entitled to your cashback.0 -

Quite. MobileShop.com will price-match and port my number, so problem solved. Thank you for your input.0
