LPG Tumble Dryer

I have had gas tumble dryers for many years and find them very economical. I am moving house to an area which does not have gas and I see it is possible to buy an LPG Tumble Dryer. Does anyone know if they are economical when there are no other LPG products used in the property.
Any help would be appreciated.

Also have a look at heat pump dryers see link for how they work - http://www.beko.co.uk/lifestyle/benefits-of-a-tumble-dryer-heat-pump
Uses 3 times less electricity than a normal heating element dryer. If you found my post helpful, please remember to press the THANKS button! --->0 -
You will need to do the sums based on gas energy consumed and price of cylinders hire and refill... Compared to a heat pump electric dryer energy use. Based on your best guess of your expected use over a year or 10.
I would seriously doubt that the lpg costs will stack up. Especially with the need for a GasSafe LPG qualified installation of the unit, and cylinder(s) regulators / auto changeover for convenience.
The sums would likely be different if lpg was used for heating the home from a large tank?
Heat pumps are also condensor type so do not need a vent to outside for the warm wet air.0
