No I hadn't Beanie but after your suggestion I looked up the times of my local library . The nearest one is open Friday afternoon when I am at home so that's good. The biggest one is open quite late and just a short drive away , so I joined up yesterday . Thank you for the idea.

    That's great :)

Childminding day for DGD , off to the library later .

Yesterday was a big spend day all on treats from Xmas money received. Two pairs of loafers £7.50 each half price obviously not leather but ok for leisure wear.
Afternoon tea 2for1 £23 for the weekend with my friend in the Lakes.
Theatre tickets for The Band next Wednesday £10 each x2 for myself and DD , offer for residents at massive reduced price.

Today I am hoping for little spends .

Went to the library today and I enjoyed it as did DGD , she got to sit on a little stool and look at lots of books.

The new loafers were a terrible buy , I have had the make before so didn't try them on (fatal mistake ) . They are going to be listed on EBay tonight .

I have whizzed round my flat cleaning , so I can head off tomorrow after going shopping with my dad . It will be an early start aiming to be in Windermere by 11. Afternoon tea and then a trip to the cinema to see Mary Poppins . Coming back Sunday after lunch to get ready for next week.

I get paid next Friday and that is when my 2019 debt repaying starts in earnest . I have had a few easy months but now want to knuckle down and try and pay as much as possible off .

    Have a good weekend everyone.

  • What a shame about the loafers :(. But enjoy Windemere, your schedule sounds good :).
