I hope you feel better soon Cumbria. I really empathise with feeling ill but being desperate to do things. At least you weren't ill in Australia and were able to enjoy your holiday.
I also hope the situation with your son in law resolves itself soon, it must be very worrying for you.

Sadly I am not well enough for the theatre . I feel very weak and think the best place for me is at home . My SIL has my ticket , so at least she will have the enjoyment . My aim is to be right for work on Wednesday . I can go to the theatre anytime .
Feeling a bit cabin feverish today . Was going to order food online but £5 delivery . I would rather starve lol . I have enough to last me a few more days .This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -

I think after seeing the consultant in September about my lungs , I thought I wouldn't be ill this winter.i definitely haven't got flu, I had my vaccine thank goodness I did.
I am just useless at being ill. I shouldn't complain I had 3 weeks holiday in warm climates , for which I am very grateful.
The weather is damp and dull , can't believe how mild it is. No heating on here for days , just a blanket and hot water bottle . I keep going from sweating to cold but mostly at night.
Hope to be able to go out tomorrow if only to my parents in my pjs .This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
I was surprised how mild it is too Cumbria. Still very wet though isn't it.
Hope you manage to get out tomorrow

Sorry you had to miss the theatre. As you say there’s always another time, no point going if you feel rubbish. Hope you feel better soon xxI get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0

Have just had a goody bag delivered by my daughter . My dad has made me sausage , mash and veg. Followed by jelly with fruit in. Enough medication to last me days . My favourite sweets and a bag of my favourite crisps! Very spoilt I feel . Anyway they are on the way to the theatre now and I hope they enjoy themselves .This is a system account and does not represent a real person.
