It sounds like you had a wonderful time. It’s no wonder you feel a tad down - cough, jet lag, gloomy weather and family health worries. You’ll adjust back to reality soon - post holiday blues maybe ?
Thank you , it's the not being able to do stuff that's getting to me. Plus my sleep is disastrous.

My niece is coming this morning to do my hair, I am going to let her know that I have a bad cold and give her the chance to back out if she wishes. I am also going to see if she wants to be on standby for the theatre tomorrow. I have wanted to see Wicked for ages so hoping to get there.
Np plans today apart from having a shower and changing my pjs. As anyone who lives alone knows you have to carry on regardless ! Hi Cumbria, sorry you are poorly. That length of flight renders most people a bit poorly unfortunately.
I hope the family illness issues resolve.
Like you I am having a close to home day.
Take care and enjoy your day.If you have built castles in the air, your work should not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them

I have been at this debt busting lark for 2 years .
I started off with £5820 and am now at £3300, plus I added a £1100 on during the course of last year , some for my flight to Australia and some when I went a little mad in the summer.
2019 is to be about paying off as much as possible. I am hoping to get my new grade in January , I have to apply for the job and the closing date is 11th Jan. If I get this rise I am hoping to put the extra money away every month.
Achievements since starting debt busting.
1. 2nd Christmas with no CC bill.
2. All insurances paid up front.
3. An intact EF .
4. I budget for most things.
5. More conscious of spending.
My plans for this next year are
Get back into the gym and swimming .
Pay as much debt back as is comfortable.
Enjoy life within budget.
Try and lose a few pounds .:rotfl:
I have one holiday booked , with my craft group that I need to pay for beginning of March. I will have more or less enough in my holiday account to pay for it by then.
Not sure of anything else yet. My dad is 80 and son 30 in 2019 so may have some extra spends there.
I have come back from Australia with £300 so that's going in the EF.
Think that's it. :money:This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
Sorry you are feeling so unwell. I hope you start to feel better soon.
some really good goals there for you to aim for. I didn't realise you were part of a crafting club. How lovely that you go on holiday together.
Hopefully you will get to see wicked tomorrow. xSeptember 2017 Debt = £25330
Starting afresh.
You can do anything if you put your mind to it. x0
