Thank you everyone for your kind wishes , Sunday can't arrive soon enough.

I was going to write a long post about all the things I have done on the past two days , but that would be boring.so to surmise :

I am packed , suitcase is done.
Carry on luggage just needs last bits to go in Sunday morning.
I have got the place ready for visitors tomorrow, I am in the single bed for the next few nights.
There is little food in the fridge , good job we are eating out tomorrow night , and Saturday lunch.

Later on this evening I am going to take my daughters and grandchildren's Christmas presents to my ex husband for him to keep for Christmas. Then off to ex in laws to pick up some Christmas cards for family in Oz.

Then a nice bath and relax I think.

I have DGD tomorrow and pick up DGS from school, no rest for the wicked .

It's getting so close now, and you seem to be organised. I am usually running round on the last day sorting things out.

You sound busy still though, which might make the time go faster x

Up and about ready for DGD to arrive, hoping for a calming day today . Don't think we will get outside the weather still looks grim .

How exciting,I hope you have a brilliant time,one of my friends went to Oz just before Christmas one year,they hired a camper van and travelled round all over the place ,she said it was amazing and sooooo lovely and sunny instead of our horrible weather,I have got a blue sunny sky at the moment though so shouldn't complain

Yes the sun came out here as well . Have been on a 2 mile stroll with DGD who fell asleep . Hopefully get an hours peace now !

DGC have gone now , I am having a rest awaiting my visitors who are stuck in traffic ! Have checked in online and picked my seats . It's starting to get real now.

I ordered something off Etsy , the lady said she had posted first class on Monday , anyway it arrived today and it had been posted 2nd class . She charged £2.50 for postage , it was a key ring which could have gone in a normal envelope. I left her 3/5 feedback , omg she has kicked off . Didn't believe me until I sent her a photo of the package. Then she apologised, I will never buy from her again.

Sellers don't do themselves any favours by behaving like that towards customers :mad:.
