Sometimes these things happen for a reason and mr perfect might be just around the corner
Fortunately for me I am really happy being single,I've split from my ex 18 years ago and have never met anyone who could tempt me to give up my single life in all that time,i think now I would find it difficult to be in a relationship as I'm too used to doing my own thing[/QUOTE

    OBL perfectly put.

Yesterday was very tiring at work trying to get everything done . Today is finishing up and putting that out of office on.

Out tonight for another treat with a friend so busy again but for all nice reasons.

Really envious that you're off work now till January. I love putting on the out of office at work!:D.

I've decided to type up some lists for going away so that I've got them handy and ready.

Re your male friend - as others have posted - never say never! From my own stance though I have to agree that I've been on my own too long now and am far too selfish and set in my ways to live with a partner again!

Glad you had a lovely time with your parents on Sunday. What did they give you pressie wise? (Nosey SSG again!)

    Enjoy your night out tonight.

Well home now , work finished . The weather is awful and cold. Friend has had to take her mum to a hospital appointment so we may not get to go out . I am not so bothered if it doesn't happen as it's an awful night.

Just having a cup of tea and getting warm.

  • Hi Cumbria

My mum said the weather was pretty nasty your way. I was trying to persuade her to let me order all the extra Christmas food online but she is still fighting it!! I know I should be grateful that she is a fit and very healthy 92 year old however sometimes.......

Now your packing.... how are you going to fit all your virtual MSE friends in your suitcase? I am sure we would all get along but I reckon you might need quite a bit of space.

I bet you are at the excited/petrified stage. I am sure it will be wonderful.

And if you find the perfect man in Oz, could you bring one back for each of us two? Because I don't think you will actually take us.

Take care honey, enjoy your lists

You are! And have lovely, thoughtful parents!

The weather is foul at the moment. Staying in and cosying down could be the sensible option!

When do you actually travel to Oz? Will you be there for Christmas?
