It's 2.30pm Friday . I am on the train returning from a few hours in Sydney . Have walked around circular quay and seen the big cruise liner in the harbour . The weather is wonderful and hot today . Haven't spent much money yet but did buy lunch £6 and train ticket £4. Have been drinking 2 litres of water a day and I feel it is helping me . Something to keep up when I get home . My I watch is charting all my activity ! Have a good day everyone .

  • Sounds like you are having a lovely time Cumbria. I love Sydney but was last there the Millenia year so 18 years ago. We have a lovely picture of the harbour bridge lit up for New Year. Visit the Blue Mountains if you can.

  • Sounds like you're having a good time Cumbria and being frugal :money:. This is what I love about MSEers, even on holiday they're tracking all their spends :rotfl:.

Morning from Australia, I have been here a week and am feeling very relaxed. I have mastered the train system and have learnt to be on it before 4pm otherwise you end up standing up much like home in the rush hour. The weather isn't being friendly, it's very warm but cloudy . The swimming pool is a nice temperature though.

Have done lots of walking and am drinking 2 litres of water every day. Went to the coast Sunday it was 35c inland , fish and chips was had , I took my own GF bread and had chips with it.

Have bought a few presents for bringing home but all thought out ones not just some random stuff. Spends are going well ,

Can see through the shutters that it's cloudy again.

Little incident yesterday with the cat of the house who went under the house to escape the dog and wouldn't come out. My host had to crawl under last night in the near dark and entice the cat out. Anyway it seemed ok after spending 13 hours in darkness !

    Have a good evening everyone.
