I'm with You Gov too and I think it's going to take me about a year to get to a payout! :rotfl:
  • It’s great that you are feeling so much better and getting out and about again.

I’m still not at halfway till payout with YouGov - I feel like I’ve been doing their surveys forever!

    Have a good weekend!

Yesterday was a bit of a washout for me, I woke up with horrendous headache, I managed to get up in time for my liver scan , the sonography lady said there was nothing on the scan to be worried about , plus my blood tests for the liver function have come back ok as well, so all good there.

I am at the doctors Monday to see if I can go back to work but I suspect that I will be going in on Wednesday .

News from work would suggest that I am getting a £500 pay rise minimum but I have also been told that my grade has had some more points to it and my next step up would be another £1100 , so will need to see when I get back . Anyway £500 is better than nothing.

Today is all about hoovering, ironing , shopping . Getting budget done as today is payday.

My back is still playing up , but have physio on Tuesday evening.

Glad your results are all ok.

I did wonder £500 per month or year!
  • Good news on the pay increase at whatever level.

Sorry about the headache but at least you are being thoroughly checked out.

    Have a relaxing Sunday
If you have built castles in the air, your work should not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them

    Emergency fund 800/1000
    Buffer fund 0/100
    Debt Free (again) 25/072025
  • Good news on the liver scan, even if you were having a pooey day.

Some people don't get pay rises, so £500 is good going.:T

    Happy Sunday

    Today I have:

    Dusted and hoovered flat
    Cleaned bathroom
    Done my shopping
    Small ironing pile cleared
Made some veg soup with pack from Aldi 79p and added some GF coloured pasta bought in Spain and gifted to bulk it up.
    Have done Feb budget
    Updated spending diary
Saved another £150 towards Oz spends.

I just need to prepare my lunch for work tomorrow.

Looking in my freezer and cupboards I think this weeks menu plan is soup every evening.

I have butternut squash soup , the soup I have just made and some carrot and coriander. Good job I like it.

Have phoned my friend and arranged a Saturday afternoon trip to the cinema in a couple of weeks .

All this makes me think I am on the better side of the horrible virus that has lasted nearly 10 weeks .

    Spends today:

    Petrol £39.70
    Mr A £21.91
    Wilko £10 .

I need to be careful with food budget this month as there are 4 weeks for me this pay month but 5 next so I am going to try and do the 5 this month .

I looked under my sink today , I found 5 bottles of washing up liquid , 2 of bleach. One toilet cleaner . Furniture polish a full one. 3 x hand wash . Then other cleaning stuff for windows , zoflora .i can safely say I don't need to buy anything for a while.

Best get on , need to wash up.

I need to update my signature and make a small payment to my MBNA card. The DD doesn't start until March so this is the money I am saving this month for OZ spends. When I get my pay rise I am going to reevaluate my budget .
